Pittwater Community Arts Annual Art Show and Sale

Avalon resident Anthony Patrick Chandler, Painter and Portrait Sculptor, is one of the Artists exhibiting in this years Pittwater Community Arts Art Show and sale at Avalon Recreation Centre. Anthony had a career in Advertising Illustration prior to embarking on a second career teaching Graphic Design in the mid 1990’s. One of his more notable pieces is a Portrait Sculpture of Banjo Paterson which is in Gladesville Park in Sydney and was unveiled by The Rt. Hon. John Howard. In 2009 he entered the Archibald Prize but is now concentrating on animal studies, some of which can be seen behind him. He also teaches at the Ku-ring-gai Art Centre, Roseville.

The Art Show is open today from 9am until 4pm and well worth a visit with every kind of creation on display. More Pictures
