Birds at Our Window

Earlier this year we lost our chooks to two dogs who had escaped their yard and were on a night rampage of destruction. A few months after this other birds began perching on the window ledge outside the office here chirruping for seed or seed bread, or simply flapping inside after the resident Tiger's cat food.

They may not be 'the girls' who once perched there all day, giving editorial advice, but certainly have as much character as individuals and have gone a long way towards, if not Restoring the Diamond, at least cheering this bird lover up.
