What a wet and miserable week. Not much to photograph, but did manage to get some pics at Warriewood Beach in the pouring rain. Most people sat in their cars waiting for a break in the weather & for the usual morning sunrise. Not to be.
The brave souls were the 8 surfboard riders, and one local swimmer (Kel) who joined them for a swim.
This morning I went for my weekly swim at the Sports Academy Pool and managed some pics of flood silt around Narrabeen Lake at the Middle Ck Reserve.
What impressed me was the dedication of the nesting Plover right next door to the pool. I have spotted her on the same bare site two weeks in a row. So I assume she has been sitting there continuously for more than a week, in the past days of rain & wind. I hope she has success, because she deserves it.
Birds finish the nest with their own breast, so it is the bosom that makes the home, and not the the bill or the claw.

As always, enjoy nature.
