Irrawong Falls Walk

May 19 2025

Photos by Joe Mills

Last Monday I decided to check out the Irrawong falls after some very heavy rains on the weekend.  With on and off rain over the past month, I found the usual fungi growth in the usual spots, flooded tracks, washed away footbridge, tree roosting Brush Turkeys and millions of mosquitos.  The undergrowth was green and lush.

The ferns formed a jubilant green sea that enveloped the pathway, their fronds dancing in the wet winter rain & winds. - Angela Abraham

As usual, enjoy nature.
