One of our favourite places to have a great coffee, from Reuben hills beans, and brunch is the Dunes Kiosk in Governor Phillip Park, Palm Beach.

Dunes Dining room is now back open as well, serving Lunch Thursday to Monday and Dinner Friday to Sunday. The Kiosk is open Thursday to Monday, and with a great expanse of green around the seating, suits our furry munchkin to catch up with other dogs and make new friends.

He had the bacon and egg roll - heaps of bacon a still gooey egg and tomato relish and mayo. You can add avocado or haloumi if you wish.

She had a fresh panini, toasted, with poached chicken, aioli, tomato and butter lettuce.

You can also order a vegetarian version or ham with gruyere cheese and rocket or smoked salmon taste treat in the panini range.

Dunes Kiosk offers breakfast dishes as well as all day lunch options. The breakfast options run until 11.30 am - the green pea, avocado on sourdough with fetta is superb. For those who like it scrambled, eggs on sourdough, with fermented chilli, fetta and local leaves is a tasty combination.

There's a Vegan Roll; has brown, Portobello mushrooms, crispy kale and tomato relish, beautiful fruit salad and mueslis.

Lunch options range from freshly shucked oysters, to a wagyu beef burger, beer battered fish burger, calamari or half a kilo of tiger prawns, beer battered fish and chips or try out the roasted pumpkin falafel eggplant salad, or the pepitas goat cheese rocket beetroot hummus.

There's scrumptious cold pressed juices, organic teas by Three Blue Ducks and even a great range of beers, wines or margaritas available.

The Dining Room options feature some of the best seafood dishes you can get, to be expected in a restaurant filled with salty sea breezes, but you can also opt for Sticky Beef short Ribs with polenta chips and green papaya salad or Lamb shoulder labne with a cucumber salsa, broad beans and black garlic.

A vegetarian dish, Butternut pumpkin gnocchi with toasted seeds and asparagus is just delicious.

Well worth a return visit if you haven't been for a while - you can book in via their website.
